Biography

Before joining the Oberlin faculty in fall 2023, Michelle Johnson was an IRACDA postdoctoral fellow in the Malavika Raman lab at Tufts University. Previously, her graduate work at Emory University explored the protein binding dynamics of fused in sarcoma (FUS), an RNA/DNA binding protein link to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD) pathology.
